On May 22-23, the Championship of Kyiv region in hand-to-hand combat among youth, dedicated to the memory of the 35th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, took place in the city of Ivankiv. By the results of this competition, Kyiv region formed a team to participate in the Championship of Ukraine in hand-to-hand combat among youth, which will take place on June 04-05.
In Championship in hand-to-hand combat of Kyiv region, fighters of 10-15 years old fought for the title of the best athletes of the region. In fact, it was a qualifying competition where each athlete had to show himself and win his place in the regional team.
The competition was held at a high level, thanks to the efforts of the organizers – the President of the Federation in the Kyiv region Mr. Andrii Prymachenko, the Vice-President of the Regional Federation Mr. Valentyn Kyryliuk, the Chief Secretary of the competition Mr. Oleksandr Rybalko and professional panel of referees.

Let us remind that the Championship of Ukraine in hand-to-hand combat among youth will be held on June 04-05 in Kyiv city in sports arena of Piddubny Olympic College.
