On the occasion of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, Yurii Radchenko, the President of the All-Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation, awarded the guards with the Certificates of Gratitude for the development of hand-to-hand combat as a sport and a part of special physical training among NGU servicemen.
Serhii Sudets, Oleksandr Prystynskyi, Volodymyr Yushkevych and Bohdan Yevtushenko were awarded honorary distinctions.
The ceremonial event was held at the National Guard Sports Complex in Petrivtsi, Kyiv Oblast.
Mykola Balan, the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel-General, Matvii Bidnyi, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Viktor Korzh, the 1st Deputy Chairman of the Physical culture and sports association “Dynamo” – Ukraine, Vadym Rohach, the President of the Sambo Federation of Ukraine congratulated the servicemen.
