The European hand-to-hand combat championship IBF OPEN European Championship 2023 in the city of Osnabrück ended with impressive achievements of the Ukrainian team. Teams from 15 countries took part in the competition, including Germany, Uzbekistan, Poland, Belgium, Turkey and Holland. Ukrainian athletes demonstrated impressive endurance and skill, winning 11 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze medals. Head Yuriy Radchenko noted that this was an extremely successful performance, which emphasizes the high level of Ukrainian hand-to-hand combat and brings an important victory to our athletes.
In the medal tally of the 2023 European Championship, the hand-to-hand combat team of Ukraine took first place, the German team took second place, and the Dutch team took third place.
