On May 13, on the eve of the Cup of Ukraine among adults and the Championship of Ukraine in hand-to-hand combat among juniors, the National hand-to-hand fighting refereeing seminar started in Kyiv city.
The NRS program provides 4 days of intensive training: seminars and practical exercises (duel meets in the section of dosed and light contact). Seminar is held to popularize hand-to-hand combat; to raise the level of qualification of the referees; to certify the sports referees; to determine candidates for the title of “Sports referee in hand-to-hand combat of the first category”, “Sports referee in hand-to-hand combat of the National category”. At the seminar, the participants will receive the diplomas.
About 50 participants take part in the seminar: coaches, athletes, heads of clubs, city, district and regional departments, regional heads, heads of departments of colleges and committees, sports referees of all referees categories.
The responsible person for organizing and conducting of the NRS program is the referee of international category Mr. Valentyn Ivashchenko. In addition, the speakers of the seminar are the President of All-Ukrainian hand-to-hand combat federation, Referee of national category Mr. Yurii Radchenko and Member of the Federation Council, Referee of international category Mr. Anatolii Voloshyn.
