Due to the situation in the country because of the significant spread of Coronavirus, the date of the Cup of Ukraine among adults and the Championship of Ukraine in hand-to-hand combat among juniors has been changed! Competitions are postponed from April till May 14-17, 2021, because of the objective reasons.
The venue remains unchanged: Kyiv city, sports arena of Piddubny Olympic College (4 Mykoly Mateiuka Street).
“We hope that the situation with spread of the COVID disease will allow us to hold a competition according to the changes made. We expect that national teams from all regions of Ukraine will take part in the competition. According to preliminary data, in October, Kyiv will host the Championship in hand-to-hand combat. It is important for us to form a strong team, which will have every chance to win the gold. In addition, in August of this year we will have the Cup of the President of Ukraine, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. As in previous times the competition will be held in compliance with all sanitary norms”, – said the President of All-Ukrainian hand-to-hand combat federation Mr. Yurii Radchenko.
It should be noted that taking into account the actual circumstances of the epidemic situation in Ukraine and Kyiv city, in particular about the significant spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, appropriate changes were made in the Unified calendar plan of physical culture and sports activities in Ukraine in 2021 in the hand-to-hand combat.
