“This year we had a great responsibility for the organization a prestigious tournament. In cooperation with the State Security Department and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we held the tournament at a high organizational level. This was preceded by difficult and hard work. We thank the administration of the State Bureau of Investigation for appraising the work of the All-Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation staff,” the president of the All-Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation said.
It should be noted that this year the Federation was the lead organizer of a large-scale all-Ukrainian tournament among teams of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, law enforcement agencies and rescue services established under the laws of Ukraine. Next year, the 10th anniversary Cup of the President of Ukraine in Hand-to-Hand combat will be held.
This is a reminder that the Cup of the President of Ukraine in Hand-to-Hand combat was held on August 21, 2021 as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. According to the results of the competition in the “dosed contact” category, the first place was won by the team of the State Bureau of Investigation, the second place was won by the State Border Service of Ukraine, and the honourable third place was awarded to the National Guard of Ukraine.
