April 23, 2021

The VII CSIT World Sports Games will take place on October 12-17, according to the decision of the 42nd CSIT Congress (Confédération Sportive Internationale Travailliste et Amateur), whose members are 230 million people. The activities of the international organization are recognized by the IOC (International Olympic Committee), SPORTACCORD (former GAIFS), ICSSPE (International Council of Sport, Science and Physical Education), WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency).

“On the Christmas eve and New Year holidays, a Partnership Agreement was signed to hold the Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship as part of the VII CSIT World Sports Games 2021 (WSG). This is a great holiday and a grand event in the modern history of hand-to-hand combat, which will provide an opportunity to develop our sport in the World Sports Community, expand the geography of development and attract as many new participants as possible.  There were times when we couldn’t even dream about it, but today it is a fact. Ahead is a huge organizational work, preparation of the national team and the first performance. This is the result of our joint efforts and your daily work throughout the development of hand-to-hand combat. I thank the leadership of CSIT (Confédération Sportive Internationale Travailliste et Amateur) represented by the President Bruno Molea and Secretary General Wolfgang Burghardt for understanding and the opportunity to present hand-to-hand combat as a sport at the VII CSIT 2021 World Sports Games,” said the President of the All-Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation, Yurii Radchenko.
