12-13th quarter of 2024 at the Malovnichny town of Kiev in the sports arena of the VSP “OFC named after Ivan Poddubny NUFVSU” the spluttering Championship of Ukraine will be celebrated in hand-to-hand combat. These organizations brought together the strongest athletes from 10 to 17 years from all corners of Ukraine to demonstrate their authority and mastery in this popular sport.
In order to improve the quality of training of police officers and the organization of practical classes in the service training system of the National Police of Ukraine, specialists of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Hand-to-Hand Combat and the Department of Personnel Support of the National Police Force have developed a new educational and methodological manual “Use of Physical Force by Policemen”.
On March 17, 2024, the extremely exciting and competitive Open Championship of the city of Kyiv in hand-to-hand combat among senior boys, boys and junior boys took place, under the slogan “We respect soldiers, prepare to defend Ukraine.” The event took place in the Track and Field Arena of the KMShVSM, at 18 Pavla Tychyna Avenue, Kyiv, gathering almost 250 participants.
On Wednesday, March 2, 2024, the city of Westerlo in Belgium became the arena for an exciting sports event – an open international tournament in hand-to-hand combat. The event turned out to be massive, with the participation of over 300 athletes from European countries and even Uzbekistan. Participants of the competition demonstrated a high level of qualification and thrilling matches before a thoughtful audience.
Recent years have been difficult not only for hand-to-hand combat, Ukrainian sports, but also for our entire society. We have faced a difficult period in history – in February 2022, the war broke out. Many things were “put on hold” after this difficult news.
The European hand-to-hand combat championship IBF OPEN European Championship 2023 in the city of Osnabrück ended with impressive achievements of the Ukrainian team. Teams from 15 countries took part in the competition, including Germany, Uzbekistan, Poland, Belgium, Turkey and Holland.
The All-Ukrainian Federation Hand-to-Hand Combat holds many events following the Calendar Plan of Sports Events. Among the largest events we are going to hold in 2022 are the Cup of Ukraine among Adults, the Ukrainian Championship, the President’s Cup of Ukraine and the World Championship.

On August 21, the Palace of Sports in Kyiv hosted a hand-to-hand combat tournament for the Cup of the President of Ukraine among the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, law enforcement agencies and rescue services formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.

On August 9, in Truskavets, the second stage of preparation of the National Team of Ukraine in hand-to-hand fighting for participation in prestigious national and international competitions began.
The National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) of hand-to-hand combat championship in the section “Demonstration of equipment” took place in the Vasyl Vyshyvanyi Training Center of the National Guard of Ukraine in Zolochiv.

Due to drastic Corona measures in the host country Italy, the CSIT World Sports Games 2021 will be cancelled without replacement.

Since 2021, all the coaches in Ukraine will celebrate their professional holiday on July 19. The other day by his Decree the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi created a new professional holiday – the Coach day.

Due to the situation in the country because of the significant spread of Coronavirus, the date of the Cup of Ukraine among adults and the Championship of Ukraine in hand-to-hand combat among juniors has been changed! Competitions are postponed from April till May 14-17, 2021, because of the objective reasons.
